Inter House Debate Competition (Secondary)

Sundaram Central School & Junior College, Palghar has set the benchmark for conducting activities in such a way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With the same perspective, the school organized a Debate Competition for the students of Class-VI on the first floor and Class-XII on the ground floor on Saturday, 24^th  June 2017. The topic of the debate was – ‘The condition of Farmers in India’ for Class-VI and ‘Demonetization’ for Class- IX to XII.

The representatives of the various houses spoke vehemently on the issue and came up with their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand.

The judges for the day, Ms. Aarti Dixit and Mrs. Sonal Naik were deeply engrossed in the ideas of the students, they also gave suggestions and instructions to the contestants to present their views more effectively. They also gave some more important information on the topic for a deeper understanding of the topic.

They adjudged the Yellow House as first. Speaking on the occasion the Principal, Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav appreciated the students for their participation and also encouraged the other students to participate in all the activities of the school.

The students of Class-VI to XII, who were an audience to the show, thoroughly enjoyed the event.
