Independence Day Celebration

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and spirit at Sundaram Central School & Junior College, Palghar. The ceremony started at 7.30 AM in the school premises with a large crowd of people, staff, students and parents.

The President of the Sundaram Education Society, Shri. Raychand Shah was the Chief Guest of the occasion. The Chief Guest, the Principal, Dr. Sunilkumar Yadav and the Trusty Members were escorted by the school band and the teachers.

To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest unfurled the Tricolor Flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of freedom. The flag song sung by the students added much colour and spirit to the occasion. The march past by the captains was appreciated by all.

Ms.Dhruvanshi Mehta, the School Head Girl shared her views on the significance of the day. This was closely followed by the cultural program comprising of patriotic songs and dances. The gathering heartily applauded the programs and performances put up by the students.

The program concluded up with the Vote of thanks by Principal Dr. Sunil Kumar Yadav. At the end sweets were distributed to the students.
