Eid Celebration (Pre-Primary)

Eid Festival was celebrated on Saturday, 15^th June 2018 by the Pre-Primary Section in Sundaram Central School & Junior College, Palghar with great joy.

On this auspicious day students came in colourful Kurta Pyjmas and Salvar Kameez. Teachers have given speech on importance of Eid which makes the culmination of the Islamic Holy month of Ramzan. Ramzan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar when Muslim abstain from food and water from sunrise to sunset and join mass prayers at Mosques. Eid marks the end of Ramzan. Eid symbolize peace and brotherhood.

Students brought sweets like Shirkurma, Gugiya etc. all kids wished each other ‘Eid-Mubarak’. Teachers have taken activity of Colouring Moon and Star in their respective classes.
