70th Indian Independence Day

Sundaram Central School & Junior College, Palghar had celebrated the “70^th Indian Independence Day” on Monday, 15^th August 2016 in the school premises.

“Independence Day” a National Festival of India. It is one of the great pride for an Indian to celebrate this day. The day which remind us the sacrifice done by our freedom fighters.

The flag hoisting was done by the Honorable Chairman Shri. Raychand Shah accompanied by one of the school topper Harsh Chaudhary in the presence of other Trustees, C.E.O., Principal, Teachers, School Staff and the Students.

The school was decorated with Tri-coloured balloons, ribbons and flags. Activities such as Tree Plantation, Group Dance, Group Singing were performed by the students of Primary and Secondary Sections. A Patriotic Group Song sung by Primary Teachers was an addition on this occasion. Vote for thanks was given by the Principal Shri. Utpalkumar Chandra.

The programme was ended by distribution of sweets to the students. The students went home with a feeling of being proud to be an Indian.
